Welcome to the Spanish Language Institute in Seattle

2012 Spring Registration Now Open! 

Don’t miss your chance to join our Spanish classes this spring. Classes begin Tuesday, April 3rd. They are strictly limited to a maximum of 10 students, to enable full individual participation in the classroom.

All classes are led by professional instructors who are native speakers with extensive teaching experience and hold MAs in the Teaching of Hispanic Culture, Literature and Spanish Language Pedagogy. The Spanish Language Institute is conveniently located in Seattle’s Westlake neighborhood. Class Schedule for Spring Term: April 3rd to June 7th

Second Year – Intermediate Level

This class is for students who have taken at least one year of Spanish or equivalent. It will help the students’ oral proficiency through an emphasis on conversational and formal vocabulary, grammar review, and discussions of current affairs and readings. The class is entirely conducted in Spanish. English is not spoken in the classroom.

Days: Class meets twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings

Spanish Conversation – Mid Intermediate Level

This class is for students who have taken at least two years of Spanish or equivalent. The class is centered on discussions of current events, and literature readings. Increased oral proficiency is obtained through continuous practice. The class is entirely conducted in Spanish. English is not spoken in the classroom.

Days: Class meets twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday evenings
Time: 7:40pm-9:10pm
